FULL-LENGTH PLAYS:

  • Sad Clowns: A Fable

Clown doesn’t feel quite like a clown at all, so he sets out to find a new path for himself with the help of Kitty- a cat who makes suits, his Therapist who finds happiness in timeshares, and his Agent, who works five and a half part-time jobs, since his clowns make him no money.

  • Pop Punk Trash Lords

A memory play where the characters’ past and present exist at the same time, with each version of themselves fighting for control of the narrative. In Fall of 2012, when the school holds auditions for the musical act to play at Homecoming, senior student Sameer, ashamed of his burgeoning queerness as a young Arab-American, tries to bury his feelings by convincing his friends that they should be the Homecoming Band this year. The only problem is that they are not and have never been a band. (Oops!) A present-day tragedy causes Sameer and his friends to look back and reflect on this moment in time, how they’ve changed as they’ve grown up, their feelings about mortality, and what happens when forgiveness is no longer an option. And before the night ends, there may even be a full-blown rock concert in store!
